Steven S. Bass, CERT II

&
JOURNALIST
Steve Bass has devoted many years to the study of Ufology and the paranormal.  Born in Winter Park, Florida, he is a 30 year native of the South.  Bass is of Cree Indian descent, related to Chief Little Bear, as well as gunslinger John Wesley Hardin.  He brings a broad, unique, and diverse spectrum of experience and knowledge to Ufology, journalism, and the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) as a Field Investigator and State Section Director.

Bass spent many years in asset and executive protection and the financial services industries.  Since 9/11, he has become an expert in the fields of Air and Ground Search and Rescue and Disaster Response with the
Civil Air Patrol, receiving training from the U.S. Air Force, the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the Georgia Emergency Management Agency, Boeing S&IS (Space and Intelligence Systems) Mission Systems, and the Georgia Public Safety Training Center.  He responded in 2005 to the nation's call for search and rescue and relief assistance as a member of Joint Task Force Katrina.  He now devotes much of his time building for our nation's future security by coordinating and administrating flight training for Air Force ROTC, Air Force Junior ROTC, and Civil Air Patrol cadets.
An accomplished journalist, Bass contributes to the American Chronicle and its affiliates, UFO Digest, and more.

Bass is a Fellow of the
